As a resident of Cook County, you can participate in our Prescription Savings program sponsored by EasyDrugCard.
The Cook County Drug Card is designed to help uninsured and underinsured residents, regardless of age or income, including those who are self-employed, save on their prescription drug costs. There is no cost to county residents to partipate in this program. This program is supported strictly by the participating pharmacies within Cook County at no cost to the county or county residents. Prescription claims through this program will not be eligible for reimbursement through a state Medicaid program. You can use your card when traveling. There is no cost to the Cook County government and no cost to participants. The discount drug card can be used at any participating pharmacy in your county and is also accepted at pharmacies nationwide. Please check our pharmacy locator to find a particpating pharmacy in Cook county. The card is accepted at all major chains including Walgreens, CVS, Rite-Aid, Longs, and more. The Cook County Drug Card covers all prescription medications, brand name or generic. Participants save an average of: 10-12% on brand drugs and 20-35% on generic drugs.
